For 1977 to 1980 1000 models: New OEM Kawasaki swingarm parts..... (Note: The 1977 KZ1000A models used a swingarm which had 1 of these needle bearings per side, the 1977 KZ1000B and 1978 thru 1980 swingarms, although outwardly identical, used 2 of these needle bearings per side. The shaft shown is for the 78 to 80 two bearing setup , but can be used on a single-bearing 77 arm.... Both shafts are no longer available new. When using an extended swingarm on your Kawasaki, keep in mind that the rear fender may also havc to be moved back an equal distance...... We make these simple adapter plates to accomplish this the easy way.......Threaded on one end where the fender threaded bosses used to be, and clear through on the other.... These plates space the rear chrome fender back just enough to make it all happen: Allowing for proper rear tire clearance, and keeping it looking right too......2 additional holes must also be drilled into the rear fender (easy - ask us for info).... These will work on  1973 thru 1977 900's,  1977 thru 1978 "A" models, & 1977 thru 1980 "B" models...... Call for Info......... Toll-Free 877-271-9292

For extended swingarm installation on 1973 thru 1977 900 drum brake models....... When putting an extended swingarm on a Z-1 or KZ900, the brake actuating rod has to be extended.... This simple extension section is the same metric thread as your stock rod and will go right on and lengthen it........ Extended drive chain - Or chain extension sections.... Extended arms need a longer drive chain than a stock application.....  If your chain is on the way out anyway, a  New Drve Chain   is your best option. But if your chain is very good, we sell  chain extension sections that are compatible with the chains that we sell...
