Valve Shim Tool / Kawasaki OEM

 

For removing & replacing the valve shims on all 1973 thru 1980 900 & 1000 models, and also all 1981 thru 1985 1000 & 1100 models...... This Kawasaki OEM tool is not the cheapest one you can get.......but it is the best in a number of ways.  It is more stable once mounted on the cylinder head than the aftermarket tools, and whereas the aftermarket "spoon type" tools work well with stock cams that are nicely machined next to the lobes, they often do not work well with aftermarket performance cams....... This OEM tool will also never "slip out" during and adjustment like the spoon type and damage your engine... Quality pays in the long run........
