While these bikes are overshadowed
in popularity by the 78 models, the 1980 Z1-R
is far rarer.....Many Kaw freaks
unaware an 80 model was ever made.......
The 1980 model featured the MKII
engine with larger crank pins, electronic
ignition, dual exhaust (unlike
the '78's 4 into 1), and accel. pump carbs....
