Cylinder Studs

High strength cylinder studs fit all 1973 thru 1980 900 & 1000 models.....(and 1981 thru 1985 1000 & 1100 models)........ Using these studs isn't  necessary when using smaller bores with conventional compound-type or graphite head gaskets......They are esssential for sealing (or trying to seal) copper head gaskets.....We don't use copper head gaskets on any of the engines we build....... They also add rigidity to an engine, and will make an improvement in strength on any motore.... And they are a must with larger bore engines using higher compression ratios.....
